VISA
Nationals like Europeans with Passport validity of minimum 6 months are eligible for Visa on Arrival at Bahrain Airport. Such personnel are to pay USD 66.50 (BHD 25/-) directly at Bahrain Airport Immigration towards visa on arrival charges. No pre visa arrangements is required but require copies of PP and Seaman Book to apply for permission.
Certain Nationalities like Filipino, Indians etc, entry visa must be processed prior travel. Documents required are copies of Passport (6-month validity minimum) & Seaman Book, processing time 3 to 4 working days.
Seaman Entry Visa is provided for all off signers after disembarkation, irrespective of Nationality. Copies of Passport & Seaman Book is required to apply for permission from Immigration Authorities.
Vaccination Certificate is not required for crew sign on / sign off in Bahrain
Agents suggest that on-signers to arrive a day earlier and be accommodated to await Vessels arrival / berthing.
