• Are there any restrictions on vessels whose previous port call was from COVID -19 high risk countries?
• Are there any restrictions on crew who embarked from COVID -19 high risk countries or specific nationalities?
• Crew change permitted?
• Yes but subject to the following conditions.
• Crew Change is allowed for the following vessels: commercial ship crews, crew members on platforms conducting exploratory drillings within Exclusive Economic Zones of States with which the Republic of Cyprus established diplomatic relations. crew members of cruise ships which are in decommissioning state, members of yachts.
• The following procedure must be followed for on-signers
• Flight details, seaman books and passports are needed to receive approval from the Authorities with no restrictions on nationality
• Countries are categorized according to their epidemiological situation into categories A, B and C. Special permission is required for people coming from Category C
• A PCR test is not required prior to arrival for people coming from category A countries.
• ii. A PCR test must be taken at least 72 hours prior to arrival (test date and time, not the test result) for people coming from category B countries.
