GENERAL

• Are there any restrictions on vessels whose previous port call was from COVID -19 high risk countries?
• As per latest regulations with respect to COVID-19, the following documents must be sent by vessel masters direct to their appointed agent to be submitted to the quarantine office with sufficient time before vessel calls the Egyptian ports for cargo operations, for stay, or transit Suez Canal with the South or Northbound convoys
• Crew list including date/port of joining of each crew member.
• Last ten ports of calls list
• Vessel’s pharmacy medical report for 14 days
• Please note that for any vessel coming from infected ports for transit via the Suez Canal /calling Egyptian ports, a special committee from quarantine will board the vessel for inspections before allowing boarding of any other party.
• Vessels arriving at Adabiya, Alexandria , Damietta are checked by quarantine officer at outer anchorage
• Agents handling any vessel with last port in China are requested to inform Port Authority/Quarantine to prepare required safety measures.
• Are there any restrictions on crew who embarked from COVID -19 high risk countries or specific nationalities?
• Crew change permitted?
