Travelers can enter Eritrea by air. Before traveling, please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements.

Travelers must take a COVID-19 rapid antigen test on arrival in Eritrea.

Vaccinated travelers who test COVID-19 positive on arrival must quarantine for 14 days at a government-approved hotel at their own expense. 

All travelers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before arrival in Eritrea.

Travelers must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate that shows a full course of vaccination before arrival in Eritrea.

Travelers must wear masks indoors and outdoors in public places and on public transportation.

All travelers must undergo health screening on arrival in Eritrea.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Eritrea has suspended visitor visa issuance.
