Crew change requuirement for Rastanura , SA
Saudi Authorities require on-signing and off-signing crew members at Rastanura to pass directly through Dammam International Airport (our nearest AirPort) where they are geared up to handle the procedures.
Seamen require owning a Valid Passport & Seaman Book. Temporary seamen certificate not allowed.
Please bear in mind that usually, we require a minimum of 5 to 6 hours to complete embarkation/disembarkation formalities through concerned Government Authorities such as customs, immigration, coast guard, etc.
Make sure seamen holding No valid Saudi visa in his passport. Cameras, Films, Video CDs/Cassettes, religious books and pictures, knives, pornographic materials, narcotic drugs, and any alcoholic beverages are banned to carry or bring inside the airport or seaport. Beware - Death penalty for drug traffickers Violations of Rules & regulations will attract heavy fines and/or imprisonment.
FYI, due to port restriction, crew change in Juaymah SBM/NGL/NHA can only be done before berthing/departure. On the other hand, crew change can be carried out any time whilst the vessel is loading at Rastanura Sea Island Berth or Rastanura Inner Anchorage.
