Port Restrictions

Immigrantion and Port State restrictions for onsigner and offsigners is non existent for any specific nationality, CBP will review each request on case by case basis
Crew change can be carried out on weekends, there is no additional expense in this case.
The nearest airport (if Pasadena is in Texas (Houston)) is IAH George Bush Intercontinental
There are no restriction on time joiners arrive to board vessel same day, boarding may be done 24/7
Almost all international flights departing IAH are afternoon flights, so anytime after 1300 hours will be just fine
All crew must be in possession of valid unexpired US C1/D Visa, no exceptions for offsigners
Flight routing is non restrictive for joiners, offsigners must go direct foreign from IAH before vessel departs berth.
There are no any special instructions for crew changes in this port
PCR & ART test is not a local requirement, cost is $225 & $75 respectively per swab and the time for results is usually within 1 hour
Shore leave is permitted, however, we require owners approval before we proceed with arrangements for crew shore leave; joiners may not be considered for shore leave after boarding the vessel, as their C1 status...

Passengers entering or transiting through the USA must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 15 days (day of vaccination + 14 days) before arrival. Passenger details (e.g., name and date of birth) in the certificate must match those stated in the passport/travel document. Vaccines accepted are

AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience), AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), CanSinoBIO (Convidecia), Covaxin, Covishield, Covovax, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm (BIBP) and Sinovac. A combination of these vaccines is accepted if administered at least 17 days apart.
